Sam Martin is a self taught Cumbrian based artist who loves being in the great outdoors. She walks every day and this is where the inspiration for most of her work comes from. Through her love of the countryside and walking, she sees the landscape in blocks of colour and this is reflected in her paintings.
Sam mainly works on boxed canvas in all sizes and use a high quality emulsion along with acrylic paints to create her work. All her paintings are signed, painted around the sides and varnished for protection, they are ready to hang on the wall.
