About the Author - The Lake District in 101 Maps and Infographics is compiled by David Felton. David Felton is a writer, researcher and publisher living in the north Lakes. A walker over four decades, he is co-host and producer of the Countrystride podcast – dedicated to the landscapes, people and heritage of Cumbria – with a passion for maps, illustration and all-things Lakeland.
