Fell View Felting

I am a self-taught needle felting artist, originally from Merseyside. I moved to Cumbria with my husband in 2012 and joined Cherrydidi as a guest artist in February 2019. I am inspired by the farm animals and wild creatures of the Cumbrian countryside and all items are based on my own photographs of these animals.

All products are handmade from wool, some of which is gleaned during walks in the Cumbrian countryside, and some is donated by a local sheep farming friend. My range includes wool paintings, small box framed heads, brooches, fridge magnets and charms.

The animals seem to develop their own personalities as I felt them, making each one unique. That is the magic of needle felting!
