I have lived in Cumbria for over 50 years and I have used the landscape as an inspiration for my work. However, over the last 15 years I have come to understand that felt is a wonderful way to use wool as a palate, dyeing and blending colour like paint.

The use of silk means that delicate texture can be combined with colour to creat an unusual medium of wearable art!
