Jennifer Guest
Jennifer’s passion is drawing. The colour goes down first, using ink and coloured pencils, which are great for blending. The drawing goes on top, going over the line work several times to create an image that is similar to that of a lino or wood cut.
Also a passionate wild swimmer, Jennifer is inspired to try and capture the sensations of calmness, serenity and exhilaration of being in the water. Often there is a backdrop of a stunning sky. The natural landscape around us and wildlife are other favourites she likes to focus on.
Previously from West Yorkshire, Jennifer now lives and works in the Scottish Highlands, where she has the delights of seemingly infinite amounts of inspirational landscapes (and swimming spots!) around.
