Night Owl Needle Felts

I'm a self-taught needle felter from Cumbria and have been working with wool and alpaca fibres for 4 years.

I'm an avid needle felter and enjoy creating felted characters.

My work is mostly inspired by wildlife and pets, creating characters from fibres and barbed needles.

It's a lengthy process taking many hours and thousands of stabs, so I get quite attached to them by the time I've finished. I don't use patterns or kits, I just start to felt and they take on little personalities of their own.
