West Yorkshire Spinners are extremely proud to be one of few remaining hand knitting brands on the UK market still developing & manufacturing yarns in house. We firmly believe that it is this freedom to innovate which sets us a part from the competition.

Our factory is based in the county of West Yorkshire which is the original home of the British worsted spinning industry.

The company was formed in 1997 in Oxenhope which is a small village outside Keighley. In 2002 the factory was moved to Dalton Lane Keighley.

Due to ever increasing demand for our products, in 2011 the factory moved again to the present site Unit 2 Airedale Park Keighley. This building is very modern and has allowed West Yorkshire Spinners to completely re-organise the layout of the plant. New machinery has been purchased which makes West Yorkshire Spinners one of the most efficient and productive plants in its field.
