Jeannie Heeley-Creed - Carlisle, Cumbria

Jeweller - Contemporary silversmith

Jeannie Heeley-Creed is a contemporary jeweller based in the beautiful county of Cumbria, she was born and raised in Carlisle.  She has a lovely workshop in the same city.

Jeannie graduated from the University of Cumbria with a degree in Contemporary applied arts, focusing on jewellery design.

Working with materials such as silver, resin, copper, and she also has a passion for including various crystals in her jewellery. Jeannie enjoys working around a concept to make her jewellery into interesting stories.

For example she had a project called ‘Dig Deep for the Miners’ which was a series of conceptual and figurative pieces based on the mining industry. Using the mined materials; silver, copper and rare or interesting crystals, she re-created mining apparatus such as miniature mining lamps, mining carts and pieces that represented the layers of strata which are mined.

Her designs are creative, colourful and unique items, from rings to earrings to necklaces. All of her pieces are handmade.
