8mm copper discs have been soldered to silver posts. Several layers of black enamel have been applied and fired in the kiln. Half the studs have been painted with gold shimmer. A final firing in the kiln seals in the shimmer.
Enamel, Copper & Silver Jewellery created by Justine of '830 Degrees' says all the magic happens in my shed. Whenever I want any me time I go to my shed at the bottom of my garden, turn on my kiln to 830 degrees and start playing. I learned how to make silver jewellery in 2016 but felt some colour was needed. I also love to paint so colour is very important to my sanity. An enameling course showed me how I could introduce colour with lovely packets of coloured powder. I won't show you the inside of my shed as it is chaos. There is very little planning. I just love to play.
