Day 22 of Mrs H’s Social Media Detox - Jack the Lad got the all clear!
Jack’s been feeling sorry for himself, he’s been off colour for some time. 10 days ago, he had his canine tooth and two lumps on his legs removed.
Of course we thought the worst with what happened to his Dad, our lovely Zak.
Turns out the tooth had an abscess high up at the root so he’ll have been in pain for some time. Results are back from the biopsy and both lumps are benign - he has been given a clear bill of health - WOO HOO!
He seems very happy again - we celebrated with a hike up Goat Fell yesterday, it was my birthday too so a perfect day was had. Weather turned just as we were on the last leg to the summit, within seconds Goat Fell completely disappeared in the mist & howling wind pushing us back down. Storm Darragh was imminent!
Off Social Media - I’m still off social media which feels great, although no birthday messages to read, have had to rely on good old cards, phone calls & text messages - I don’t feel anywhere near as ‘popular’ but do feel more fulfilled.
